April 16, 2016  Chain O' Lakes State Park

Eleven birders from Stockbridge Audubon Society enjoyed a very warm and pleasant field trip to Chain O' Lakes State Park today. Though we only found two species of Warblers, we had a good variety of both Raptors and Woodpeckers. We counted a total of 51 species. For those of you keeping track of your State Park list for 2016, all of the birds on the following list were seen within the park boundaries except for Rock Pigeon and Mourning Dove.
