​Nineteen members of Stockbridge Audubon hiked through Fort Wayne's Franke Park this morning. Things were fairly quiet when we started out on this cool morning, but as the temperature heated up, so did the bird activity. We ended the trip four hours later with a total of 56 species, including six species of Warblers. Our most productive spot was along the north shore of Shoaff Lake, where we got great looks at a Common Yellowthroat, a Yellow Warbler, some Yellow-rumped Warblers, and SEVEN Pine Warblers!
