April 6, 2013 Hurshtown Reservoir
Thirteen birders blew over to Hurshtown Reservoir, Allen Co., for Stockbridge Audubon Society's Sunday afternoon field trip. We found nothing unusual, but there was a good variety of water birds among the wind-blown whitecaps on the reservoir. There was a great chance to study Horned Grebes in almost any conceivable stage of spring molt.
