Hurshtown Reservoir
April 9, 2017

Thirteen birders traveled around Hurshtown Reservoir this afternoon and, in spite of the strong winds and less than perfect viewing conditions, were able to come up with a list of twenty-nine species. Except for a large raft of mostly Scaup and Ring-necked Ducks, there wasn't a whole lot on the water itself. Some of our better birds seemed to be the land birds in the habitat surrounding the water.
