March 16, 2013 Pisgah Marsh and Tri-County FWA
Eleven Stockbridge Audubon birders braved cloudy, cold weather (temperature holding steady at 34-36 through the day), early morning fog, and a little occasional mist for today's field trip to Pisgah Marsh (P below) and Tri-County FWA (T). We totaled 54 species, including a good variety of ducks, Sandhill Cranes, an exceptional three Barred Owls, but few songbirds. The latter simply were not active in the rotten weather.
