Pisgah Marsh and Tri-County FWA
March 24, 2018
Nine birders from Stockbridge Audubon Society braved the cold and wind today, birding Pisgah Marsh and Tri-County FWA, and they were rewarded by a very nice list of birds. While many of the ponds at Tri-County had hardly any birds at all on them, a couple of them seemed to be covered with them. For example, our conservative estimate of Ring-necked Ducks on one pond alone was 500 birds! We had a total of 24 species at Pisgah Marsh, and 47 at Tri-County. Along with a few others that we found along the way, we ended the day with a very nice total of 55 species.
