In spite of deep mud and standing water underfoot, eleven birders participated in the
Stockbridge Audubon field trip at the east end of Eagle Marsh this morning. We found 11
species of warblers, including Blackburnian, a first at Eagle Marsh, bring the total for the
property to 222. - - Comments: 48-57 F, mostly cloudy, strong wind. - - 68 species
** After lunch, the field trip was extended at the west end, with a considerable turnover in
participants.
