Jasper-Pulaski FWA
Week 12
J-P was Stockbridge Audubon's last suggested birding site of the season. The main attraction there, of course, is the thousands of Sandhill Cranes that assemble there each fall. Including the cranes, 11 birders found 27 species; one of them was a Whooping Crane, a bird that has become a regular migrant through Indiana.
Let's hope for happier times in the spring field trip season.
