Eagle Marsh
October 12, 2019

There was frost on the grass when six birders set out on Stockbridge Audubons's field trip to Eagle Marsh this morning.  It warmed some as the morning wore on, but the wind picked up.

The American Avocet, first seen last week, is still present.  It has been seen all over Eagle Marsh, mostly on the west end; however, it was first reported at the National Serv-All ponds adjoining Eagle Marsh to the east.  The addition of a Merlin and a Lincoln's Sparrow made it a rewarding day.
