Hurshtown Reservoir

Eight members of Stockbridge Audubon enjoyed few birds this afternoon as we circumnavigated Hurshtown Reservoir atop its blustery dikes. I was not optimistic after reading Jeff McCoy's post of his visit there on Friday, but, with the passage of the cold front, my expectations still far exceeded our actual results. That's birding, I guess. Maybe next time. Our list of 30 species:
