LC Nature Park

Stockbridge Audubon held a field trip to a site new for many of the group.  LC Nature Park is a privately owned nature preserve, open by appointment.  Dr George Manning, who manages the park, pointed out to us some of the plants and fungi there, as well as the introduced bison and elk, and described the ongoing restoration efforts.  In addition to all that, the 17 participants found 25 species of birds.
