Nine Stockbridge Audubon Society birders battled 900 5K runners and walkers at

Franke Park this morning. Those that survived saw a variety of birds, although
not quite what we had hoped for after the cold front moved through last night.

And the usual contingent of mixed domestics. There was no sign of the Black
bellied Whistling Duck that seems to have moved on to more appropriate
habitat.
