September 21, 2013 Fox Island
The Stockbridge field trip to Fox Island drew 14 birders on a pleasant, if rather cool and windy day. Highlight of the day was a co-operative Prairie Warbler; I think Jim Haw said it was the second fall record for Fox Island. Also nice was a Gray-cheeked Thrush, not as accommodating -- most of us only heard it. Three on the list (Mourning Dove, Tennessee Warbler, and Blackburnian Warbler) were added by Jim after the rest of us had left.
