It was a depressingly slow day for the 14 birders on Stockbridge Audubon's field trip to Fox Island. As we were standing in the parking lot getting ready to leave, Mary Helfrich discovered a flock of warblers and others, which lifted our spirits considerably. In the end we managed 35 total species, with five warblers.
