Perhaps some people were discourage by the rain falling in Fort Wayne, but the four who did show up for the Stockbridge Audubon field trip found the Lake Michigan lakefront dry, if cloudy and a bit cool. Birding was a little spotty, with the most activity at the Dunes State Park nature center feeders. We found a total of 40 species, some not seen in Northeast Indiana.
