About Three Rivers Birding

Three Rivers Birding, previously called Stockbridge Audubon Society, is a chapter of the National Audubon Society, serving Fort Wayne and all of Northeast Indiana. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit and part of a national network of community-based Audubon chapters and nature centers.

We provide scientific and educational programs, advocate on behalf of areas sustaining important bird populations, and engage people of all ages and backgrounds in positive conservation experiences.

The organization honors Charles Stockbridge, a local postal worker and birder who was born in 1856 and became nationally known as an ornithologist. To learn more about Charles Stockbridge, click here.
